Tenigerbad is an abandoned Belle Epoque hotel near Sumvitg, in the canton of Graubünden. The history of the nearby valley and its isolation makes the place full of melancholy. When it opened, the hotel only operated for a short decade before the First World War. This project seeks to propose a new kind of use of the place, transforming it into a cultural community and artist's residence.

In the oldest building are the artists' apartments and workshops, as well as the common living areas. The building is being renovated according to its historical condition, and artists are helping to bring it back into shape. It is in this building that shows and exhibitions are held. The restaurant, the kitchen and the swimming pool dating from the 1970s have been preserved and renovated. In place of the rooms in the extension, a new pavilion has been built for shorter visitors coming to see the artists or their works. This new building in red lacquered wood rests on the existing basement in which a gallery is arranged and relieves all the buildings of the complex.
